General comments: I bought this tee to go under my goretex as I was warned of the perils of wearing a cotton tee under a goretex.
Am pretty happy with it, used it for a variety of activites, from going to the gym to Scottish winter/alpine climbing and have had no major problems so far.
The seams are flat which is always nice, espec when wearing it under a rucksack and don't chaff which is good.
The fabric is nice too, It certainly dries faster than a cotton tee shirt, making it ideal for when you're working hard, be it in the gym or on a mountain. I find this particularly useful for climbing, where the stop-start nature of it makes you likely to get wet then stop and get cold. It seems to wick reasonably well, not as good as HH but certainly better than a cheap cotton Tee. Mine is an attractive shade of blue and black and looks fine being warn as a casual top in hot weather so no complaints from the fashion police. Almost certainly a lot better than a skin tight HH on the average man! The Silver seems to make it smell a bit less than a HH, although I wouldn't say it's better than a Merino top, but almost as good.
Minor critism would be the lack of a zip, I like one to regulate my body temp when I get hot and I prefer the zonal Lowe Alpine one if I'm really working hard. Also no pockets, I like them when I'm cycling, but guess I could just stick with a cycling jersey for that!
Pros: Quick drying.
Doesn't smell! Flat seams. Cut is nice and casual. Nice colours.
Cons: Not quite as good at wicking as a HH or as unsmelly as a merino wool top but certainly not a real problem.
No zip.
