The updated classic Trek GTX is gorgeous. Beautiful to look at, beautifully made and wonderful to wear - I didn't expect to be seduced by a heavier 3 season boot but this is so comfortable, supportive and so well-balanced that I barely noticed its weight. Refreshingly, there are no bells and whistles. With the exception of the heel, this is essentially a boot made from a single piece of leather - fewer seams - fewer potential leak points - and it seems a shame to couple that with a waterproof/breathable GTX membrane. With proper care, a boot like this should stay waterproof for years anyway. If you like your own "three seasons" to have a sprinkling of the white stuff, these Scarpa Trek GTX boots represent the icing on the cake. | Shop | Price | Postage | Total |
