General comments: This is an excellent basic belay plate which is rather simple to use, Can easily cope with single and double ropes and you can use either the fat or thin side depending how much friction you require!
Pros: Simple, easy to use belay device
Cons: Not very smooth on belaying, however the use of the Italian Hitch will soon fix this!
