General comments: I’ve just completed my Duke of Edinburgh Silver award, and used this sleeping bag throughout all walks. Although this sleeping bag is slightly more expensive than rival sleeping bags you defiantly get what you pay. My first walk was in January and the weather was terrible however as soon as Id set up my tent and was in my sleeping bag all my troubles seemed to be far away. Although the ideal temperature is set at -7°C I can tell you that you are perfectly comfortable at a warmer temperature.
The most resent walk I’ve done was in the Black Mountains in Wales. For the more experienced walkers out there you’ve probably been there, for those of you who haven’t go as soon as possible… Its great! The sleeping bag also worked great there to. Although the temperature was slightly warmer the weather was still pretty poor so I didn’t experience sweating at night, which is such a pain!
Me being over six foot tall usually find sleeping bags a lot smaller than specified for this one though it seemed to fit perfectly. Another problem I come across as many other campers do is trying to fit everything in your pack. This sleeping bag seemed to fit fine in my bag with plenty of space for the more luxury of items.
For those reading this I would defiantly advice buying this sleeping bag weather your quite new to walking like me or if your more experienced.
Matt

General comments: This sleeping bag is rubbish. I bought it to use in my gore-tex bivvy. I froze at +10 degrees. A waste of money considering I can only use the item for sleepovers round mate's houses. I spent a night on the ridgeway a couple of nights back, no frost, in a tent and didn't sleep all night. I can see why Berghaus don't make sleeping bags anymore. They probably realised they don't know how. Avoid this and buy a brand who only make bags. I've written to Berghaus to ask for a refund.
Pros: Nice colour. Waterproof. Good for sleeping on a mate's floor (as long as he has the heating on)
Cons: Bulky, heavy and doesn't do what it says on the label. No way can you use this at -7
