General comments: I bought the Alpkit Wee Airic about a week ago, as I had heard that it was generally just as good as a thermarest but for a fraction of the price. I haven't tested it camping yet. but first impresions using it whilst staying at a mates house are extremely positive.
Pros: The Wee Airic has an extremely small packsize, if you fold it in half length ways it goes really small. it's not very heavy (but a bit more than equivalent thermarest). Easy to use. A quick puff to make it firm and your away for the comfiest nights sleep, ever. This is so much better than a foam roll mat. You can sleep on our side without dead arm in the morning! It is suprisingly thick and so comfy. Very cheap and worrth the money. Also, it comes with a repair kit!
Cons: This is the short version of the Airic, so your feet may get cold in the winter. I can't think of any other bad points so far. it does seem almost perfect and for a great price. I'm too happy with it to find faults, perhaps some will appear with further use - there must be something wrong as it is just so cheap.

General comments: Unbelieveably, disproportionately good piece of kit! - and that's coming from a Thermarest Prolite 3 (full length) owner. Excellent value from a generally fantastic company that can only go from strength to strength (check out their fab Titanium tent pegs and that ace fork/spoon thingy for £5). As I tend to go light and fast more often than not, it's the Wee Airic that tends top get the nod in my rucksack more often than my Prolite. Comfort is excellent, valve user-friendliness and reliability is fine, puncture restistance is equal to Thermorest. Must say it's slightly easier and quicker to squeeze all the air out of the Thermarest though. Did I mention you get a repair kit with this, that Thermorest would charge you £6 extra for?
Pros: Can't think of any other product segment, not just in the camping world, where a product of one quarter the price is TRULY equal in all aspects to the established, premium-price, market leading brand.
Cons: None - heck I can't even say there was any delay in Alpkit posting it out to me - it arrived next day!

General comments: I bought this for use during a months expedition to East Greenland. I bought it becaue of the difference in price to a thermarest. It was much lighter than the thermarests and had a much smaller packsize, as well as being really comfortable to sleep on. The included repair kit was very usefull as it got one small puncuture, but it was easily mended. Even with the shorter length, I didn't find any problems with cold feet. Even when sleeping in snow graves in minus temperatures.
Pros: Small, lightweight, comfortable and super fast delivery.
Cons: There were no bad points that I could find after a month of constant use.
