General comments: This is a great tent. It does pretty much what Vaude say it does - lightweight, but still relatively robust, and the pitching system works like a dream. You can get the whole thing up on your own if you have to in barely a couple of minutes, and with two men it's really, really fast. The pitching together of inner and outer is fantastic and totally idiot/exhausted camper-proof.
I've had this tent up in most conditions other than the snow, and it has done very well in wind, rain and blazing sun. It's totally waterproof - even if pitched on very wet ground, though the outer does have a tendency to collect condensation unless you get the venting open wide enough (I always seem to forget to do this!). The venting, however, is very well designed, giving you a wide variety of options depending on the weather. As both ends open fully, it's also pretty OK even if you find yourself sitting in it in the direct blast of the desert sun... better than without its shade, certainly.
I've used this primarily as a 2-man tent, for which it is absolutely ideal - loads of room for two to sleep comfortably with a fair bit of your gear inside too (you could probably get two 70 liter sacks in comfortably). Good head room and generally airy-feeling inside, even in oppressive conditions! The porches are massive too, though I'd imagine you'd start running into problems with 3 men inside not in terms of sleeping space (done this with me (6'5) and two other guys and it was surprisingly OK) but rather where to put your sacks!
Mine's done a pretty intense 18 months (2 months in the Indian Himalaya - very dry with huge temperature swings - a month in the Carpathian Alps - wet! - and assorted shortish England/Scotland outings) and it's been one of the most reliable bits of kit I've had with me each time. Saying that though, I noticed last time I had it up that some of the stitching around the tensioned points on the inner was just thinking about coming away - irritating, but I can't see it being a catastrophic failure even when it does eventually go.
All in all, a very good two-man tent!
Pros: Light; very fast pitch; roomy for both people and gear; well designed.
Cons: Wouldn't want to use it for three people plus 70 litre sacks! Slightly weaker in places than a heavier tent would be, but not disastrously so.
