General comments: The mother of all tunnel tents. I use a number of these as standing camp tents for clients on some of my activity weekends away in the UK.
I've found this tent to be very stable, well constructed, durable, easy to pitch and on the whole a satisfactory method of accomodating a number of adults in relative comfort on a temporary basis.
I've used the tent pitched simply with the flysheet, as a dining area-cum-gathering point for a weekend activity with 20+ people seated at tables eating in the tent. It has adequate headroom to allow ease of movement around the tent.
The compartments which make up the sleepin accommodation are well tought out, again providing good headroom (most people who don't camp regularly object to having to get dressed on their backs and their knees). The communal living area within each tent is more than adequate.
I've found no problems with the construction or quality of these tents, despite their relatively low cost.
The design is excellent, a scaled up tunnel tent, making it quite stable, even in strong winds. The 'windows' are a nice touch providing some natural lighting within the communal living area, the door zips functioned well and were well located. The bags are more than adequate to enable you to pack it away, it's definitely not one of these gems that only fits in its bags when it leaves the factory and then will never fit back in them again!
Pros: Size, absolutely voluminous.
Stability
Build quality
Quality of materials
Durability
Cons: Size (it takes up a lot of space in the boot of a family estate car)
Weight, the combination of Steel Poles & pegs is very heavy.

General comments: I have used this tent as my family's sole tent for the past 10 months. During this time we have been on holiday camping in south eastern Wisconsin. The terrain has been very similar every time - level, slightly rocky terrain. It has been used in beautiful (21 Celsius) weather, in downpours when it was only (4 Celsius), and pretty much anything in between.
My biggest concern when first considering this tent was the weight - at over 30 pounds (14 kilograms), it truly is a beast. I would never consider using this tent for anything but camping when a vehicle was within 2 miles (3 1/4 kilometers) of the campground - any further and it would be too much of a burden to make it worthwhile. While this tent packs down small for its size, it is still a monster and will take up a large part of any pack. Due to the sheer space that this tent takes up, it often requires a separate trip to the car. The only time that I would even consider taking this tent further than a few miles would be if I was using it at a base camp for an extended (a month or longer) trip, but even then I would favor just using individual lightweight tents . I've been able to park within ¼ mile of our campsite each time I've used it, so the weight was not much of an issue so far. The biggest selling point for us on this tent was the size - while there are only 4 of us who use this tent regularly, it is nice to have some extra space in case the kids have friends that tag along.
Pros: ultra dry, huge cavernous space
Cons: heavy beyond belief
