The first prototypes for this three-person tent were used in the Western Cwm on Everest a decade ago. Since then, it has gone - quite literally - from strength to strength. For 2006, the Trango series come with durable Atlas Scandium XL poles, which compliment the signature UVX windows (flexible to -54?C) and twin tension shelves. General comments: Very stable and tough mountain tent that isn't too heavy to carry.
Pros: Very strong! first class customer service from MHW after a pole end "thingy" broke. I received a complete set of new poles within a week!
Cons: not the quickest tent to put up.
