The first prototypes for this three-person tent were used in the Western Cwm on Everest a decade ago. Since then, it has gone - quite literally - from strength to strength. For 2006, the Trango series come with durable Atlas Scandium XL poles, which compliment the signature UVX windows (flexible to -54?C) and twin tension shelves.
