A great sleeping bag made just for women, it has extra grams of high quality down stuffed into the hood, around the core and over the foot sections in order to trap heat and so raise comfort levels. The bag is also cut to follow the contours of the female form. This reduces the chance of any cold spots.

General comments: I got this because it was lightweight and suitable for the expedition I was going on (Peruvian Andes). In terms of looks the bag is excellent and is extremely comfy to sleep in. This is the first down bag I've had, as I've only really had need for fairly simple synthetic ones so far. I find it's a lot nicer than synthetic and Is also warmer. Comment on this review...
Pros: Good cut, ideal for women, much cosier than most bags. Lightweight. Comes in a goood quality stuff sack. The velcro-free face muff is a huge advantage. Different shaped drawcords are excellent too.
Cons: Is quite difficult to pack down sometimes. I don't think there are any other big disadvantages. This is definitely the best bag I've ever had.

General comments: I decided to get myself one of these because I was fed up of my ancient synthetic bag that didn't really keep me warm on cold nights and I'd been wondering if it was because it was really far too large for me and I was trying to warm up lots of empty space ... It also weighed a ton!
Although it's not as light as some down bags with similar temperature ratings, I certainly find the Angel Fire far easier to carry than my old sleeping bag, which makes backpacking a lot more pleasurable.
The idea behind this bag is that it is shaped to fit a woman's frame and has extra down filling in areas such as the feet. I'm not sure how much difference those design features make because this is my first ever down bag so I have nothing to compare it with. However I was really pleased to find that there were no cold spots and - best of all - no big gaping freezing zone below my toes.
In fact the bag is so efficient that I've never had a cold night in it. It feels very luxurious after my old synthetic bag.

Pros: Reasonably lightweight because it's a down bag.
Comfortable to sleep in.
Cons: I can't really think of any bad points - just wish I had bought one earlier.
