General comments: I bought this jacket in June 2006. I wore it while in Iceland doing some treking. I was impressed by the fit and it looked pretty stylish. The hood is quite easy to adjust. The pockets are a good size. It kept me dry in some pretty heavy downpours and was relatively breathable.
There's a "but" though! The grey panels on the arms and across the back are a different texture to the rest of the jacket and the panel across the back on my jacket bobbled really badly after just a couple of days of carrying a 8kg rucksack - so much so that I took the jacket back and got a refund.
The shop assistant said it wasn't something he'd seen before on this model so maybe it was just a fault in that particular jacket coupled with the fact that my rucksack had been rubbing but certainly not what I'd expect when you're paying that much for a jacket.
My friend has the same jacket and she's not experienced problems with it, although I'm not sure that she's worn it while carrying a full rucksack for prolonged periods.
Pros: Looks good
Decent pockets
Cons: The bobbling on the jacket after wearing a rucksack for a couple of days was really bad.
