These ladies Berghaus Deluge waterproof trousers are ideal for walking in the UK. The trousers feature Aquafoil material which ensures they are tough, waterproof and light. General comments: Cheap, light weight, very breathable and a bit like a low cost paclite fabric. I have used them for ice climbing and general winter walking and they seem up to the job. Though the rip very easy if your crampons get too close
Pros: Cheap, light.
Cons: Not to hard wearing

General comments: I used to wear these Berghaus Deluge trousers over some leggings which is great for general use but hasn't kept me dry on a single wet day in the mountains. They have all the good makings of a top pair of overtrouser but lack quality in the keep you dry department...
Pros: Nice to walk in, great zips for easy access in bad weather and venting
Cons: Aquafoil just doesn't cut it in bad weather.
