General comments: The delta 300+ is a great tent for weekend campers or festival goers. As with all Vango tents it is well designed and of a quality that would put other manufacturers to shame at the price. Weighing in at 6.9kg you wouldn't call it lightweight but considering it's probably only going to get carried from the car to your pitch that shouldn't put you off. It has a double porch design, so plenty of space to stick your bits and pieces. Putting up the delta 300+ couldn't be easier; the colour codes poles thread easily through the sleeve and are held in securely through the ring and pin system. Being a fly up first design means you can the work in the dry hanging the inner in place should you find yourself getting this up in the rain. Once up the interior of the Delta 300+ offers generous sleeping space; and with the double porch easily accommodates 3 people with kit. It's nice to see porch groundsheets included here, it can make the difference between wet and dry kit should it really belt it down during the night. With a hydrostatic head of 2000mm the fabric is well above the British standards for waterproofing. For the amount of use this tent gets it's probably more likely to meet its end at the hand of a stray fag end at a festival or someone tripping over a guy rope in the middle of the night.
Pros: Great value for money. Lots of space.
Cons: Heavy.

General comments: I bought my Vango Delta 300+ and the beginning of last summer, I have used many tents before but for the money you pay Vango is my preferred choice. This tent was purchased for me to go away walking for long weekends and this was used as our base camp. It was ideal as it has two porches so you can store plenty of gear in one side then use the other as your main door, or if it gets really wet and muddy you can switch doors. Both the porches are fitted with groundsheets, these are very handy to keep your stuff dry. I have only used the tent with two people in but I don’t see a problem getting three people inside, as it looks very spacious. It’s just a personal thing that I prefer to have a bit more space. The build quality as always is very good for the price you pay, its very easy and fast to erect with the flysheet going up first and then the inner. When using it in Scotland we had a few bad days i.e. very wet weather and high winds and I was thinking I should have brought my other tent but this stood up to the task well and was very solid.
Pros: Good solid built tent, Excellent price, Plenty of room for yourself and your gear
Cons: When packed away it is rather big and heavy

General comments: I didn't use my Vango Delta300+ for a couple of years because I couldn't get the keys into the poles. Recently I got it out and tried again and found I could do it, and after it had been erected a couple of times it seemed to get easier and I could erect it within about 15 minutes. I took it on holiday for 2 weeks and was very pleased with it. I camp alone and there is plenty of room for me and my junk, so I think it would suit a couple quite well. There is probably room to keep a Porta Potti in the back porch so that the tent can be taken to minimal facilities sites without having to carry a special tent. The tent was admired by quite a few other campers.
Pros: Double ended so easier to keep cool, great storage space, survived a three hour mother of torrential downpours without letting in a drop. Porch groundsheets very handy but difficult to line up correctly: some of my stuff in the porch got wet because the groundsheet was protruding slightly.
Cons: Given that it is a Vango, some of the finishing off left a bit to be desired, One of the toggles supporting the inner tent fell off the first time I put it up, the metal sleeving on one of the poles split slightly, and I had to go round trimming off the threads. The elastics holding up the inner tent don't look like they will last long.

General comments: My tent withstood two days of torrential rain in the Lakes this week. Easy to put up and the two porches mean you don't need to clutter up the main area with your kit.
Pros: Very weatherproof.
Cons: Lining up porch groundsheet. If you don't do it properly rain can run in onto the groundsheet.
