Silva L2 Headtorch

The Silva L2 headtorch is a 1 Watt Luxeon™ regulated LED Headtorch. With a 35m beam on max power, a 20m beam for 10 hours on medium power or 11m with a total burn time of 85 hours on power save, you have a good choice of power and duration settings. The L2 shares the same design of light unit as the L1. This design allows a heat sink to be mounted on the back of the LED for optimal performance. The power button is located on top of the head unit and easy to find even with gloves on and the light source can be angled from 45? up to 45 ? down. The L2 has the most adjustable light angle of any of the headtorches. The L2 has quite a narrow focused spot light beam. If you want a floodlight there is an accessory pack of 2 diffuser lenses. One clear one for general use and a red diffusing filter to preserve night vision. Please see related productes below. The L2 is also available in a Camo version for tactical use. The Camo version combined with the red filter makes the Silva L2 Camo a very popular choice with the military. The Silva L2 uses 2 X AA Batteries (included) Weight 165g. (115g + 50g Batteries) The L2 can be used with Alkaline, Lithium or NiMH Rechargeable batteries. 3 Power modes plus flashing. Includes storage bag. The L2 is regulated so it will maintain most of it's original power output until there is 15% of the battery remaining and then it will switch to power save mode. So the total burn time includes the time in power save mode, not just the burn time at full power.
