The Spectre 200, from the Vango range, is a lightweight 2 person tent that is ideal for Duke of Edinburgh participants and exceeds the requirements of any backbacker, especially if there is a low budget. The Spectre boasts a zipped storage area on both ends making sure all your kit is in the dry overnight. A tension band system provides internal bracing that ensures stability in high winds. The impressive tent has a weight of just 2.5kg made possible with the use of Powerite alloy poles. Other features include heavy duty pole sleeves, pre-attached guy ropes, guy tidy, colour coded poles and reinforcement points that all combine to make your experience easier and more enjoyable.... | Site | Price | Postage | Total |

Vango Spectre 200 Tent Reviews

General comments: A good backpacking tent from a reliable manufacturer that doesn't break the bank.
Storage compartments at both ends, to keep rucksacks, boots etc
Pros: A good tent for the backpacking novice.
Cons: A little heavier than the really lightweight tents, but they cost a fair bit more. Not really suitable for valley camping, but hey ! that's not what it's for

General comments: Had this tent out a couple of times now. I am using it as a Replacement to my much loved but elderly Peapod.
This is a fantastic tent to put up quick 2 pegs and its up the inner is removeable but preattached so ones the rest of the pegs are in your done.
As always the Vango has a quality finnish and lot of inovative features.
The price is great and I think I will grow to like this tent as much as my Peapod.
The magor gripe is the door on one half on one side which limits pitching into the wind and there is not a lot of foul weather cooking room provided by the very smal porch.
Aside the above this tent has a lot of room for a two man tent, you could almost sqeeze 3 in if they are very small. 1 adult 2 small kids say.
This tent is quite stable in West Coast Gales
Over all great tent at a great price.
Pros: Inerior room
Ease of pitching
Features ,Gear loft atc
Stability in wind
Purchase Price
Cons: Lack of porch room
door position
