Icebreaker didn't call it contour for nothing. The Contour Crewe hugs your body around the contours, leaving the wind with nowhere to go. General comments: When I go for a base layer top this is my first choice. The Contour 200 is to my mind the perfect start in the layer system. A fitting wicking garment that beats all others in my opinion. Supremely breathable and insulating. Having purchased several other brands of merino wool garments it's Icebreaker and particularly the Contour 200 that ends up being the one I go for first. If you can ignore the price you shouldn't be disappointed. I certainly wasn't. Incidently the only upper body garment I wear that isn't merino/Icebreaker is my jacket.
Pros: Warmth, breathability and close fitting.
If it feels good (and it does) it must be good.
Cons: Only the price, my advice.. buy it, wear it and hide the receipt.
