The North Face Scorpio sleeping bag is the latest lightweight synthetic bag to be released by TNF. The Scorpio can be used in summer only (or between late spring and early autumn if you pick your days and/or don't feel the cold) - this is reflected in the temperature rating of 9 degrees (extreme rating of -4 degrees). The main selling point of this North Face sleeping bag is the weight and pack size - at just over 600 grams, it's definitely not going to take up much space in your rucksack. This weight should of course be replaced by carrying an extra bottle of wine! If you're interested in the technical details: The outer fabric of the North Face Scorpio manufactured from Helio Lite ripstop; the synthetic insulation used is Primaloft; the zip covers two thirds of the length of the bag; stuff sack (for compression) and separate storage sack both included. | Site | Price | Postage | Total |
