The Vaude Power Atreus is form meets function in this prime choice for high alpine tours and expeditions. Thanks to the patented Powerframe technology, this tent can be pitched quickly, even in hard winds and rain - the outer poles are simply clipped to the tent and the inner tent stays dry. The geodesic construction and the specially designed clips enable bombproof stability in stormy regions.

   VauDe Power Atreus Reviews

Reviewed by Mike (Scotland) on 2009-09-09:
General comments: (The picture on the site isn't an Atreus btw.) I reviewed the Atreus on UK Sea Kayak

Pros: Loads of space and what seems like a robust design. Easy to pitch, spacious, well made tent.

Cons: Fairly heavy, but it is a large tent! O/e guylines and sliders will need to be replaced.

Buachaille responded : Mike, I see no difference between the pictures. Please elaborate... (2009-09-09)

Mike responded : Hi - the picture "here" is of a Vaude Power Odyssee - it's door rolls up whereas the Atreus rolls to the side. The Atreus has two vetibules / doors whereas the Odyssee only has one. for details of the Odyssee. Regs, Mike. (2009-09-15)

Mike responded : By way of update - I've had very poor experience with the poles on this thing. Numerous breakages. Full marks to vaude for excellent customer service in replacing them foc, but I was left without a tent for a month this year (2011) and had to cancel a number of trips as a result. Also a lesson in choosing your retailer carefully - the people who supplied this have tried every trick in the book to escape from any liability under the Sale of Goods Act. (2011-08-06)
