General comments: This is a really handy torch. The batteries last ages and it's very light so you can keep it in your bag all the time. It'll save you tripping up in the dark, let you read in your tent at night, and is handy for DIY too. I prefer the retracting cord headband to the Tikka headband. It packs away neatly and allows it to be attached round your wrist or hung up in a tent (it doesn't work well on bike handlebars though: it just points straight down). The only drawback is that it won't illuminate anything in the distance, so don't expect to go for walks away from paths with it.

Pros: Small, light, long battery life.

Cons: No good for navigating.

General comments: convenient, easy to use and wear but problems with light switch brightest level will probably seldom be used, for reading the dimmest level is enough

Pros: light, small cord does not cause sweat, can be set for three different levels of brightness

Cons: after some month the button that sets the brightness caused flickering when touched or switched the lamp off instead of dimming the light
