Zamberlan Vioz GT Reviews

General comments: Great boot good quality, cannot fault but be aware they are a narrow boot as are most European boots.
Pros: Did not take any wearing in, Just put them on and walked.
Cons: The as new colour soon goes and they could do with a bigger toe rand as easily scuffed.

General comments: This is my 2nd pair of Zamberlans. The first lasted 12 years having taken me all over the world. I've only replaced them because the tread had worn down. After two months of using the new boots, I can honestly say that they are just as comfortable. Minimal breaking in required - no blisters after a 20 mile initial trek. They are sized smaller than normal UK sizes so for my size 10 feet, I needed 11's. Be warned - they are heavy boots
Pros: Superb ankle support and general comfort - minimal breaking in required. Very tough boot
Cons: toe rand smaller than previous pair which may eventually affect water ingress and general resistance to wear and tear.

General comments: I used these on roads, trails and mountains in Ireland. After 18 months the boots fell apart. The sole lifted from the upper. My previous boots were Meindl and I had them for 10 years. I would never buy WZamberlain again.
Pros: Pros: Very comfortable boot, great support. Good for long hikes.
Cons: Cons: These well minded boots fell apart after 18 months.
