The Mountain Equipment Glacier 500 sleeping bag is the evolution of decades in the business, and it shows. Designed as an all round 3 season bag the Glacier 500 uses a 90/10 ratio of 675+ fill power down to handle the cold as the needle hovers around zero. The outer shell on the Glacier series is Mountain Equipment's new water resistant Drilite Loft, designed specifically for protecting down whilst keeping weight to a minimum. The all important foot and head areas are well covered, with a 5 baffle Bulls-Eye foot that uses a ring of down around three stacked layers and a Sharks Toe design to help feet lie at a natural angle without compressing the insulation. The hood has been carefully shaped, with a HALO baffle and 3D neck collar.
