The Laser Space 2 is the first lightweight backpacking tent with room enough to stand up in!Given that the Laser Space 2 weight only just over 3kg, there is an extraordinary amount room within. On top of this there is also headroom of 1.76m which allows you to use the porch area to change out of wet clothing, ensuring the inner tent remains dry. The porch on the Laser Space 2 measures at 3m2 allowing room to accommodate rucksacks and folding chairs whilst still giving you plenty of room for cooking, or to access the inner tent. The Laser Space 2 includes a smaller ‘back door’ enabling you to exit the tent without disturbing anyone. Otherwise this can be used as main entrance should you wish to store bikes or other large items within the porch. The seams are not factory sealed due to the superlite fabric construction, although these are instead covered by the inclusion of a pole hood.
