General comments: I haev been using this unit for some years as an aid to naviagation and use it mostly to get a grid reference from or to use the electronic altimeter (have not really used the electronic compass) it is great uinit for use on the hills and I use it in conjuction with an Aquapc GPS case and thsi has the added effect of keeping it ocmpletely waterproof but also it keeps the batteires a bit wamer in cold cimates and helps prevent battery drain cna be a samll cit sow getting an initail reading but often is accurate to 5 meteres

Pros: good battery life, very weather & weatherproof, easy to use

Cons: none
