General comments: I have used the explorist on Dartmoor in thick fog to great accuracy. You can enter in your own waypoints and the inbuilt memory has preloaded citys and towns. The buttons are easy to press with gloves on and most of all they make sense, Buttons like 'go to' or 'back' all make sense. Instruction manual easy to use.
Pros: Simple and easy to use.
Cons: Cannot plug the Magellan eXplorist 300 into a computer to download additional info.
