General comments: I have had the berghaus MULE for about a year. I have taken it on 2 ski holidays and to be honest I am very disappointed. Berghause’s slogan is trust is earned, whell on this item it certainly wasn’t. Firstly when I packed it with ski wear for 2 people it was obviously going to exceed the capacity, until I compressed the likes of fleeces and salopettes down. This meant that there was pressure on the zip when I done it up. (We all have this problem of taking far to much!). However the zip then broke, so I had to change the bag the day before my holiday. The second zip was better. The other problem was its durability. We all know luggage gets chucked about, but mhen I saw the Mule at the other end it was quite badly damaged, with a small tear. The fabric is meant to be a 1000 denier texturised nylon used for its very high tear strength & abrasion resistance. However it didn’t perform in this case. Anyway the small hole still remains – all be it a lot bigger after another trip.
Another think is that the wheels are far to small, I have lost count of the time they have got stuck, as well as the grab handles. These are not very strong, and need more padding for lifting 100 litres.
Pros: None - i really disliked this item. There are alot of pockets though, and you can lock the zips!
Cons: As mentioned in the review. Not hard wearing, the zip quality is poor and wheels are to small.
